Asia Yachting Opens Second Office in Sai Kung

Asia Yachting opened their second office in Hong Kong at the Club Marina Cove in Sai Kung through an intimate opening ceremony on December 1st, 2017. Founded in 2007, Asia Yachting strives to deliver comprehensive boat and yacht sales services for clients to provide the most luxurious yachting experience.

The brand new Sai Kung office is strategically located beside the Club Marina Cove, one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the local region. “Sai Kung is one of the most popular cruising areas in Hong Kong. Therefore, opening a new office in Sai Kung allows us to get closer to Sai Kung clients, and more importantly for Asia Yachting to offer our clients the best possible service.” said Olivier Besson, CEO of Asia Yachting.

Asia Yachting invited two world-renowned water-sports athletes, Shawn Watson and Jeff McKee, to Hong Kong for a Nautique event on 23^th Sep, 2017 in Sai Kung and 24^th Sep, 2017 in Deep Water Bay.

Together with over 6 Nautique boats and a line-up of luxury yachts on the water, the athletes demonstrated their skills and coached participants on board the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23

More than 70 guests joined us at this event. During the event, the athletes demonstrated the superb abilities of the Super Air Nautique on the water, guiding boat owners and guests how to tune up their wakeboarding and wakesuring skills!

This Nautique event successfully brought our water-sports clients and professional athletes together, and our clients were impressed by how much they were able to improve their skills in such a short time!

Asia Yachting hosted the Ferrari Owner’s Club (FOC) on board the award-winning MCY 80 during the last weekend of August. Nearly 30 guests from the FOC enjoyed a beautiful cruise in Sai Kung, Hong Kong, together with a detailed display of the Monte Carlo Yachts collection.

Last Saturday (30 July 2017), Monte Carlo Yachts unveiled the 7th model in their collection, the MCY 96, at a Gala Dinner held in the heart of Venice, Italy.  Venice and Monte Carlo Yachts have a very special relationship. Here is where it all began for the builder back in 2010 when the MCY range that rocked the yachting world was announced. In 2015, the company returned to present the MCY 105, and on Saturday, they revealed the latest addition to its collection, the MCY 96, at the stunning Island of San Giorgio.

It was a great pleasure for our team to attend our first Prestige Dealers’ Meeting since we officially became dealer in Hong Kong and Macau earlier this year. Together with other dealers around the globe, the event held on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea was filled with fruitful seminars and training sessions.

The Nautique Wakefest Hong Kong 2017 took place at the Taipo Waterfront Park from 7 – 9 of July with over 125 athletes from all around the Asia Pacific region. This was also the first year that the competition adopted wake surf categories and extended the original 2-day competition to 3.

Asia Yachting is proud to be the title sponsor for the third consecutive year for this regional competition. The Super Air Nautique G23 was once again the official tow boat for both the practice day and official competition days.

Asia Yachting displayed the mesmerizing Monte Carlo Yachts 80 beside one of Hong Kong’s busiest highways in Admiralty.

Monte Carlo Yachts takes home the prestigious World Superyacht Award with a strong showing of its 32-meter flagship in the Semi-Displacement or Planing motor yachts – 30m to 33.9m – category.

Three MCY 105s – the Botti, Serendipity and Dolce Vita – represented Monte Carlo Yachts at the twelfth edition of the Boat International World Superyacht Awards in the Semi-Displacement or Planing motor yachts – 30m to 33.9m – category and vied for top honours against four other boats, but it was Botti that won the day and took home the award.

Carla Demaria, President of Monte Carlo Yachts declared – “We couldn’t be happier to win this award as we faced some stiff competition in the category. To be picked by the exclusive panel of judges of the World Superyacht Awards, combined with how positively the MCY 105 was received by our customers, demonstrates once again that we are taking the product in the right direction.”

For twelve years, the World Superyacht Awards have recognised the best of the best from ingenuity and innovation, to design and engineering, rewarding winners with the coveted Neptune trophy, a symbol for paramount excellence in superyacht build and designing. The 2017 World Superyacht Awards took place on Saturday, May 13 in Florence and brought together owners and industry leaders to recognise and celebrate the finest superyachts launched throughout 2016. “The Boat International World Superyacht Awards are amongst the most important recognitions in the industry, and we’re both proud and thrilled that the MCY 105 was awarded with this top honour,” said Federico Peruccio, Marketing Manager of Monte Carlo Yachts. “Botti is a stunning craft that was lovingly built and customised according to her owner’s wishes. We’re sure that this award will bring great satisfaction to him as well.

Referring to the MCY 105 Botti, the jury panel commented: “Her elegant exterior design permits a large bimini-covered sundeck with dining and lounging and a second dining area on the main deck aft, while the design makes use of the foredeck as a further lounging space and cinema. A sizeable bathing platform adds to the appeal. Inside, the judges admired the clean, practical lines and subdued decorative scheme. The technical spaces were considered well-constructed, especially the engine room that houses twin MTU diesels and practical gyro-stabilisers that afford low speed stability.” The MCY 105 was first presented to the public at the Cannes Yacht Festival in 2015. At 32 meters, this flagship yacht is the largest in the collection to date, and its unveiling celebrated Monte Carlo Yacht’s 5th year anniversary with a boat that is the most tangible exemplification of the company’s vision and the best expression of Monte Carlo Yacht’s iconic, timeless style and the naval allure of the MCY collection. The MCY 105 has received a number of honours and awards since its launch, including the Best of the Best recognition by Robb Report both in the United States and Asia earlier this year, the Most Innovative Yacht Trophy at the Cannes Boat Show in 2015, the Golden A Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels category in 2016, and the Most Innovative Award in its category at the Invictus Yachts Trophies in Cannes in 2016.
