Once a year Asia Yachting holds Nautique boats wake experience event in Hong Kong. This year it took place on 27th and 28th of August in Tai Tam. Asia Yachting brought two world-renowned wakeboard and wakesurf athletes to Hong Kong from the U.S.: Shawn Watson and JD Webb.
The athletes demonstrated their skills and coached Nautique owners using the multi-award-winning Super Air Nautique G23. Despite the rain, over 70 guests joined the event including our media friends. Throughout the event, the wakeboard and wakesurf professionals showcased the full extent of the Super Air Nautique’s abilities on the water, while helping boat owners and guests alike to tune up their skills.
Wakeboarding and wakesurfing have been making ever-larger waves in Asia over the past few years. This Nautique event has successfully brought water-sports enthusiasts and professional athletes together.

Nautique Wakefest Hong Kong 2018 was held by Asia Yachting and Hong Kong Water Ski Association (HKWSA) on July 6-8 at the Taipo Waterfront Park. This annual regional competition gathered the best riders around the region and welcomed total of 104 athletes for a 3-day competition, including 22 overseas riders from China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Singapore and Chinese Taipei. This year’s competition was split into 14 categories of all ages, including Women’s Novice, Women’s Intermediate, Men’s Novice, Men’s Intermediate and more.
The Super Air Nautique GS22 was the official tow boat for the Nautique Wakefest Hong Kong 2018. Not only was the Super Air Nautique used on the three official competition days, participants also had the opportunity to practise on the boat one day before the event.

Asia Yachting and Club Cyclone Runner collaborated for the first time and successfully organized a weekend speed boat show in Ap Lei Chau by displaying the best selection of speed boats in the market. Throughout the weekend of June 2-3, Asia Yachting and Club Cyclone Runner displayed speed boats from various brands across the world, including Nautique wakeboard boat, Scarab jet boat and Monterey leisure boat from the US while Club Cyclone Runner displayed Salpa boats from Italy.
The event attracted over 200 boating enthusiasts throughout the two days. Visitors had chance for an exclusive viewing of Hong Kong’s best selection of speed boats as well as opportunity to purchase them at the most reasonable price.
