The recently concluded Hong Kong International Boat Show 2023 marked its return after a six-year hiatus, attracting over 4000 visitors. The event, held at Club Marina Cove in Sai Kung from November 30 to December 3, provided an exceptional platform for yacht enthusiasts to explore the latest offerings in the industry. Showcasing approximately 40 yachts from 30 renowned brands, along with water toys, marine services, and luxury cars, the show captivated attendees with its diverse array of offerings.

Among the exhibitors, Asia Yachting garners widespread attention with the luxurious yachts from Prestige and Fountaine Pajot. Visitors were captivated by the elegance and sophistication of the showcased vessels, resulting in hundreds of onboard visits.

Asia Yachting proudly presented two brand new yachts that stole the spotlight at the show: the Prestige X60 and Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47.

The Prestige X60, making its Asia premiere during the event, attracted numerous visitors with its exquisite design and features. The iconic Prestige X-line new model, X60, is here in Hong Kong and made her Asia debut at the Hong Kong International Boat Show 2023! The energetic sister of the line flagship model X70 is designed with exceptional level of comfort on board, she reinterprets and reinvents space on board for greater volume and a design that is more open to the sea.

The signature infinity-cockpit affords an incredible view of the ocean and easy access to the saloon through a large sliding glass door. There is also a side slide door to the side deck, so guests can enjoy a true alfresco even sitting in the saloon, with this seamless transition design.

Another major difference from X70 is the sunken bow lounge, with seating and sun pads plus drinks holders on both sides of a movable octagon-shaped teak table. This has turned the front deck into more than just a sunbathing area, but more importantly, another social area option.

The voluminous flybridge is 30% bigger than a normal 60-foot monohull could offer. It features an outdoor galley with a grill, fridge, sink and storage, providing  lots of area for different of social activities and relaxing space.

2. Hop on the bus DB03R, from Sunny Bay MTR station to Discovery Bay pier. More details

*There are free shuttle bus that bring you from the pier to Lantau Yacht Club.

Asia Yachting had just organized a series of events for Nautique owners over the weekend (21^st – 23^rd Oct), including one-on-one coaching with professional wake sports athletes from the US, and on-the-water social event with wake sports performance.

Two professional riders from the US, John Akerman and Jeff McKee, together with Nautique sales representative Thad Nurmi were invited for this eventful weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, there were one-on-one coaching sessions by the US professional riders for individual Nautique owners and winners of Nautique IWWF Asia Wakefest Hong Kong, including athletes from Hong Kong and Taiwan. They gave them each personalized tips and tricks to improve their wake sports skills.

Monday was the main rendezvous for the owners, as well as the local and US athletes to gather for a fun day on the water of Tai Tam with music and drinks. Local athletes representatives: Dawnee Kanjanapas, Wilson Wong and Kelvin Leung, were demonstrating their skills together with John and Jeff. The crowds were all excited to see all the flips and jumps up close.

Asia Yachting just had the launch of Hong Kong first Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 in Aberdeen Hong Kong last weekend. It was the first time this elegant sailing catamaran open for viewing to public.

This 47-footer is a remodel of her predecessor, the Saona 47, with an enlarged flybridge area that is twice the size than the old model. A lot of guests appreciated this social area especially during the sunset cruising with the gorgeous backdrop with a glass of champagne in hands.

The other guests’ favourite area is the exceptionally innovative galley and saloon area. It features over 1400 litres of storage space, with the window fully open towards the aft cockpit area, which can create an extra large dinning and lounging area for family and friends to gather.

This brand new sailing multihull will be showing face in Lantau Yacht Club and Club Marina Cove in the coming months as well, so if you missed her premiere, make sure to arrange a viewing soon!
