The annual Hong Kong International Boat Show 2024 just finished on December 1, attracting lots of boat enthusiasts and industry professionals.  Asia Yachting showcased a selection of exceptional yachts and boats at this biggest yachting rendezvous in Hong Kong as well.

The 4 featured vessels including the distinguished Prestige M-line, the flagship model M8 and her sister model M48, a sailing catamaran Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47, and a shiny 2025 Nautique G23 Centennial Edition.

Prestige Yachts just hosted the Prestige Exclusive Days in Hong Kong showcasing the impressive full range of the brand’s M-line and X-line, including their latest flagship model, the Prestige M8, together with M48, X70 and X60, for their yacht owners and VIP guests. The event aimed to offer the guests an exclusive sneak peek at the two exceptional motor multihulls from M-line that just arrived in Hong Kong earlier this month. With 65ft in length, many said they felt like they were on an 80ft or bigger yacht and therefore were very pleasantly surprised. The inaugural Nautique IWWF World Wakesurf Championships in Hong Kong, which took place from 2^nd to 10^th November, concluded with resounding success, marking a significant milestone in Hong Kong wakesurfing world. Sanctioned by International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF), organized by the Hong Kong China Waterski Association (HKCWA) and title-sponsored by Nautique Boats, this Championship is also a qualifier for The World Games 2025.

With over 130 skilled athletes from 19 countries and regions, the competitions showcased what Hong Kong has to offer in wake sports on a global stage. The judging panel, comprising professional wakesurf athletes with diverse international backgrounds, ensured a fair and impartial evaluation process, adding credibility to the competition and reflecting the global nature of it.

After over a week of competitions in the water of Taipo Waterfront Park with the supports of fans from all over the world, Team USA took home the gold medal of Team Overall, while Team Hong Kong got silver and Team Ukraine received the bronze medal. Notably, the Hong Kong team demonstrated their outstanding performance in the competitions, and successfully brought home 5 golds, 5 silvers and 1 bronze, underscoring their dominance in multiple disciplines.

Under the support of Nautique Boats, two Super Air Nautqiue G23, which is known as one of the best wakesurf boat models in the industry, were used in the competitions for the best performance in this international standard Championship, together with a brand new shiny 2025 Centennial Edition Nautique G23 displaying at the entrance of event ,which served as a popular photo spot, as the brand celebrating their 100^th year birthday.

With the closing of another summer yachting season, Asia Yachting is thrilled to share the great news of the sale of three large-sized brokerage yachts in the last month: a Princess X80, a Riva 86 and an Azimut 120 to three separate, happy new owners.

The “super flybridge” model, X80, from Princess was sold to a young businessman who had already purchased a smaller yacht from Asia Yachting earlier this year.

The Riva 86 and Azimut 120 were sold to two other overseas buyers who are both experienced yacht owners. These two superyacht models are perfect for family activities in the calm Mediterranean Sea.

“Brokerage market for larger yachts has been very active this year, and we are happy that we have the chance to close some deals in Asia and abroad as well. We have a few new arrivals coming later this year, and we are positive about the market,” said Vinci Cheung, one of the Asia Yachting brokers who facilitated the deals of these superyachts.

The IWWF Wakefest Hong Kong 2024, sponsored by Nautique Boats, took place at Taipo Waterfront Park from 5^th to 7^th July. This year’s Wakefest Hong Kong attracted a significant number of international riders, with one-third of the athletes traveling from overseas to compete. Team Chinese Taipei took home the Team Champion for the second consecutive year, demonstrating their exceptional prowess and unwavering team spirit.

The event also saw a notable increase in the number of U18 athletes, highlighting the growing appeal and participation of young talents in wakesports.
